Orfoz is a small, independent mobile app studio in İstanbul. We make cheap, useful apps for everyday jobs: free or a one-time purchase, small to download, no feature bloat.

Why

A small tool should cost like a small tool.

Simple utility apps have turned into subscriptions and feature piles: a monthly fee for a checklist, an account for a timer, the one feature you need buried under the ones you don’t. We’d rather build the small tool and charge for it once, or not at all.

How we build

Four commitments.

We hold every app to these. If an idea can’t meet them, we don’t build it.

  1. One app, one job.

    Each app does one everyday job. A feature that doesn’t serve that job doesn’t go in.

  2. Fair pricing.

    Free or a one-time price. If an app costs us nothing to run each month, it won’t cost you anything each month. No trick trials, no dark patterns.

  3. Light.

    Small to download, quick to open, and working offline wherever the job allows.

  4. Your data stays yours.

    We don’t sell what you put into an app or share it with anyone you didn’t choose. Çay, for example, is fully personal: nothing in it is shared with anyone.

Plan only tomorrow

A day planner that plans the next day, and nothing further ahead.

  • Plans only the next day.
  • You pick an evening cutoff hour. After it, the app flips to planning tomorrow.
  • Pin blocks to a fixed time; untimed blocks flow in the gaps between them.
  • Reuse blocks from your own library, each with a duration.
  • One notification in the whole app.

  • Each person gets a card with a row of tea glasses, one for every favor you owe them.
  • Paying one back is a press-and-hold that drains a glass.
  • Fully personal: nothing is shared with anyone. Syncs through your iCloud.
